Full Description
[Marginal] A 2nd c. Roman bronze disc brooch was ploughed up in 1955 on Robertson's Farm, Ightham, about 300 feet south of the southern edge of Chalklin's Shaw. The brooch has two circles of shield-shaped inlays of enamel, and the pin is missing. (1) This brooch is on display at Maidstone Museum. The finder (a) cannot now remember the exact findspot which is sited to TQ 59735576 on the Maidstone Museum 6". (2)
