Monument record TQ 76 NW 135 - Medieval cess pit, die and undercroft, 30 High Street, Rochester

Summary

A cess pit and die were found during excavations in the gardens of no 30 high street in 1970. It was subsequently discovered that the cellar of this property contained the remains of a vaulting respond belonging to a 14th century undercroft. When it was fully investigated it was found that many of the original architectural features of the undercroft survived.
