Description from record TR 15 NW 372:
Nos 4 and 5 Palace Street [TR 14955797 sited from OS 1/1250 1974]. Grade II. 18th century fronts to timber-framed buildings. (1) No 4 Palace Street. Timber-framed building, jettied on first floor. 16th century or earlier. No 5 Palace Street. Timber-framed building, perhaps medieval with 18th century front. (2)

2. C18 fronts to timber-framed buildings. 3 storeys painted brick. Moulded wooden eaves cornice. 4 sashes with some glazing bars intact. Early C19 shop fronts. No 4 has panelled risers.
Nos 1, 2 and Nos 4 to 8 (consec) form a group.
