No 23 (Old Huguenot Weaver's House) TR 1558 SW 3/48 3.12.49.

2. A C16 timber-framed house. 3 storeys and gable timber-framed with plaster infill. Fine moulded bressumer. Overhang on joists. 2 fine grotesque brackets, 1st floor has 5 light continuous mullion with leaded lights. Ground floor has a restored shop front with mullions and transoms. Interior has a king post and a staircase with C18 twisted balusters. Arches and panelling.
Church of St Alphege and Nos 1O to 28 (consec) form a group.

No 23 Palace Street (Old Huguenot Weaver's House) Grade II*. (TR 15015810 - OS 1:2500 1957). A C16 timber-framed house. 3 storeys and gable timber-framed with plaster infill. Fine moulded bressumer. Interior has a kingpost and a staircase with C18 twisted balusters. Arches and panelling. (2) No 23 Palace Street. 16th century or earlier timber-framed building. (3)
