Description from record TR 15 NW 245:
(TR 14495814 - sited from OS 1/1250 1970) No 81 St Dunstan's Street. Grade II, was badly damaged by fire in 1981, so a complete survey was made by Canterbury City Council's Conservation Section. Along the street frontage about half of a medieval timber-framed building survives. The rest of the building must have occupied the site of No 81a where there is now a separate Victorian building. (1-2) It has now been restored. (3) A timber-framed house restored in later 19thc. 2 storeys stuccoed with imitation timber-framing on gable. Tiled roof. 1 gable with finial. 1 sash, 1 casement. Round-headed doorcase. Grade II for group value. (4) Address given as No 18. (5)
