Full Description
TQ 785 608. An enclosure consisting of bank and ditch with a perimeter of c.3 miles, the east side of which forms part of the west boundary of Bredhurst parish. Partial excavation in 1964 revealed a few pieces of pottery including part of a pricked strap handle of c.1300. The enclosure falls within Monkdown Wood (possibly a deer park).
