Shop with ancillary accommodation to rear. C16 with C18 and C19 extensions to the rear,front elevation remodelled in C20.Timber framed building,the exterior clad in C20 framing with plastered infill. Tiled roof. Gabled front is jettied at second floor level with early C20 applied timbering and moulded bargeboards. Two plain sash windows. Below the earlier facades have been replaced by a 1960s double height shop front with a mock half timbered first floor panel. Immediately to the rear is a brick and tiled C18 structure. Behind this is a small brick built unit with corrugated roof linking to 2 C19 brick buildings one 2-storey with slate roof and beyond 3-storey with hipped tiled roof and 2 projecting bay windows at second floor level. Interior of front part is an oak framed structure with clasped side purlins roof of 4 bays with wind braces. A fine C17 turned baluster stair links the first and second floors. Second floor structure consists of C16 oak joists with ogee, chamfer and roll mouldings obscured by later finishes.
