Description from record TR 15 NW 369:
No 49 North Lane [TR 14675820 sited from OS 1/1250 1971]. Grade II. Exterior 18th century, but conceals a 2 bay 16th century timber-framedbuilding behind. (1) No 49 North Lane. Two unit 16th century timber-framed house of two storeys. 18th century brick front. (2)

2. Exterior C18, but conceals a 2 bay C16 timber-framed building behind. Most of the original floor joists and several of the main posts and tie beams survive. One main-post has a pronounced jowl and a brace joining it to the tie-beam. The facade is of 2 storeys red brick with grey headers. Hipped tiled roof. One casement window, cambered on the ground floor. Left side cambered doorcase. Rear elevation tile hung. Listing NGR: TR1467758204 (3)
