Summary

Various items have been found in the field of Kits Coty House. In the 18th century the tenant at Tottington Farm had a large brass, warlike instrument, something like a halberd with a socket to it. It had been unearthed in the field. A sword with the handle and a fragment of the blade and 2 spurs were found at a different time. A leaf shaped arrowhead, Neolithic or beaker pottery sherds were also unearthed. The present location of the finds is unknown.
