Summary
In the 1950s a 6th century coin was found in the garden of a property near Kits Coty House.The coin appears to have been burnt but can be identified as a coin of Justin II, AD 568-78, minted at Nicomedia and marked 572/3.
The coin was given to Maidstone Museum.
