Findspot record TQ 76 SW 15 - Neolithic flint axe found at Burham

Summary

In 1935 a polished flint axe was found in the garden of Parish Well, Burham House. The name "Parish well" or "Parish Well Villa" went out of use in 1956 when the village of Burham was renumbered. The present whereabouts of the axe is unknown.
