2. Mid C19 pair. Two storeys. Ground floor red brick. First floor timber-framed and plastered. Tiled roof with large brick chimneystack. Gable ends with fretted bargeboards supported on carved lions to one side and carved elephants to the other. Decorative curved framing. Two 5-light blinks to front elevation and 2 double light casements to ground floor with moulded panels above. Cambered doorcases. These cottages belonged to the Bifrons estate.
