Full Description

[TQ 70386213] Romano - British interment consisting of two urns, one with burnt human remains and burnt fragments of brass chain found in the spring 1923. (1) A small cremation cemetery disclosed in 1923 in the garden at the back of "Holyboro' Garage". (2) Local enquiries failed to produce further evidence of this site. Holborough Garages was built in 1924 but Mr. F.C. Botten, the proprieter and a local man, knew nothing of the find. (3)
