The following text is from the original listed building designation:
1. 5273 CHISLET CHURCH LANE
Chislet Court TR 26 SW 5/279 30.1.67.

2. An C18 house, probably built by Thomas Jones, who died in 1760 aged 89 and is buried in Chislet Church, or by his successor. Two storeys red brick. Tiled roof with brick parapet and painted stringcourse. Six sashes with segmental heads, painted keystones and glazing bars intact. Those on the ground floor also have venetian shutters. Doorcase with painted and moulded architrave surround with projecting cornice over, rectangular fanlight and 6 flush panelled door.
