The following text is from the original listed building designation:
1. 5273 LITTLEBOURNE Elbridge House (formerly listed as Elbridge Hill House) TR 25 NW 10/494 29.9.52

2. Built about 1803 by the Denne family. Two storeys and attics buff brick. Three windows and 3 dormers facing south, 4 window and 4 dormers facing west. Mansarded slate roof. Stringcourse and cornice of Roman cement. Glazing bars intact. In the centre of the south front is a wide porch with twin Tuscan columns on tall bases with steps between and a projecting cornice and parapet over. The centre first floor window bay projects with a pediment in the parapet and an attic storey built up above. The two southernmost window bays of the west front project and the southernmost one has a curved bay on the ground floor only.
