Monument record TQ 76 SW 38 - Medieval/post medieval barn, Halling
Summary
Remains of a medieval or post medieval timber framed barn. Originally an aisled barn with 6 bays: all the aisle posts have now been removed on the north side. There is also a modern corrugated-iron roof and modern brick side-walls. Previously thought to be a medieval barn, a survey in 1994 suggested that the barn dates to the late 18th century. Scheduled as an ancient monument.
