The following text is from the original listed building designation:
1. 5273 CHISLET ISLAND ROAD
Upstreet (to south of) Brick Granary, Stables and interconnecting rear wall on S.E of Port Farmhouse TR 26 SW SP/176

2. Granary: C18, possibly contemporary with barn. Red brick walls, partly of Flemish bond; later brick work at eaves, roof having possibly been raised. Plain tile hipped roof. Front wall with battered plinth and central doorway, the last well above ground level; to each side at ground level a small segmentally headed opening, possibly to kennels. Internal partitions have been altered.
The south granary wall and a wall of similar bricks extending south from S.E end of granary, form the north and rear walls to an out building with C19 roof, C19 red brick front wall with three round-arched iron windows and short C19 stock brick wing with similar window to right angles at rear.
Late C18 to C19 stable wing at south end; part Flemish bond brick walls; plain tile hipped roof. Front wall with two segmentally headed doorways with boarded half doors and small central window opening with central loft door. C19 collar roof and ground floor ceiling construction; C19 floor tiles. This range appears to be shown on C19 Tithe Plan for Parish of Chislet.
