No 62 Burgate. Grade II*. (TR 15175774 sited from HHR map). A large early C18 house Rainwater-head dated 1725. (1) Additional bibliography. (2)

2. A large early C18 house. Rainwater-head dated 1725. 3 storeys red brick. Stone coping. 5 C18 sashes with glazing bars intact. Moulded architraves. Second floor windows have raised keystones. 2 stringcourses. Plinth. Central wooden pedimented doorcase has reeded frieze and Tuscan half columns, 6 fielded panelled door and 2 steps.
Nos 62 to 69 (consec) form a group with No 1 Burgate Lane.
