2. Mediaeval and later. 2 storeys plastered. Old tiled roof with 2 C19 hipped dormers. 6 C19 sashes on first floor. Later C19 shopfront. Side entrance has C18 glazing.
Nos 1 to 9 (consec) and Nos 38 to 44 (consec) Burgate together with Nos 1 to 8A (consec) and Nos 10 to 16 Mercery Lane form a group.
