2. Formerly the dormitory to Christchurch Monastery and grade I for this reason. A modern library has been built over part of it. The dormitory was built before 1093. 1953 by J L Denman. 3 storeys. The ground and 2nd floor are of stone. The 1st floor is of flint, brick and masonry. The windows are mullions with leaded lights, round-headed on the 1st floor. 2 cented bays on the lst and 2nd floors.
