Full Description
A denarius of Gordian III and Tranquillina found at Cooling, nr. Stood, is in the possession of Mr. H. Wickham. Obv. Imp. Caes, M. Ant. Gordinvs Avg. Radiated bust of the emperor in paludamentum to the right. Rev. Sabina Tranqvillina Avg. Draped bust of the empress to the right, surmounting a crescent.
