2. Probably early C19. Brick cambered arch visible above ground level. This leads to a subterranean chamber. Reference in 'Archaeologia Cantiana' 1975.

Icehouse listed grade II, prob. EC19. Brick arch visible above ground, the entrance has been sealed with a slab. (1) Additional bibliography (2) A C17 ice house reported as being restored during 1997 in grounds of Darenth Grange after having been bricked up in the 1960s. (3)
