Grade II* listed building. Main construction periods 1200 to 1889. Church 12/14thc. 13th-15th century restored in 1889 by John Drake when the nave was lengthened and a north-west tower replaced with existing wooden one. Built of flint with stone dressings. Tiled roof with some remaining courses of stone slabs. Chancel, nave with north aisle and porch and tower at the west end of the aisle. Small Norman window in the west wall. The north aisle is 13th century the chancel and nave late 13th-15th century.

[TQ 60326904] St. Mary Magdalene's Church [NAT] (1) The Church of St. Mary, Longfield, much restored and enlarged in 1889. Contains Norman and Early Decorated features. (2) In normal use. (3) 1. 5280 LONGFIELD MAIN ROAD Church of St Mary Magdalene TQ 66 NW 4/210 1.6.67 II* 2. C13-C15 restored in 1889 by John Drake when the nave was lengthened and a north-west tower replaced with existing wooden one. Built of flint with stone dressings. Tiled roof with some remaining courses of stone slabs. Chancel, nave with north aisle and porch and tower at the west end of the aisle. Small Norman window in the west wall. The north aisle is C13 the chancel and nave late C13-C15. Barrel-vaulted roof. Piscina in south wall and archway in east wall. (4-5)
