Mortuary Chapel at Watling Street Burial Ground

2. Circa 1870. Built of ashlar. Tiled roof. Buttresses. Pentagonal apse. North chapel and north porch. The west front is gable ended with kneelers surmounted by a cross and has 2 traceried windows. Bell over entrance to north chapel.

Not shown on 2nd edition (1897-1900) OS 25" mapping, first shown on 3rd edition mapping (1907-1923).
Dartford Borough Council information records that the burial ground was acquired in 1900, consecrated in 1909 and the chapel built 1913.
