The following text is from the original listed building designation:
1. HIGH STREET 5274 (North Side) No 82 TQ 5474 2/7 TQ 5473 3/7 22.12.53. II GV
2. An early C15 timber-framed building with a long frontage facing Bullace Lane. The ground floor has modern shop windows. The 1st floor is plastered and oversails on brackets. Hipped tiled roof. Sash windows, some retaining their glazing bars. 2 storeys, 2 windows facing High Street. 4 windows facing Bullace Lane. At the back is a amll additional contemporary portion of 2 storeys and 1 window with a lower elevation, in part of which the timber-framing is exposed with painted brick infilling, the remainder weather-boarded and plastered. On the east side facing the churchyard is a red brick chimneybreast of which there is a record that it was added in 1465. To the north is an early C19 extension of 2 storeys with painted brick ground floor and weatherboarded lst floor. Tiled roof. 6 sashes.
Nos 78 to 82 (even) and the Church of the Holy Trinity form a group.
