2. C18 appearance with early C19 alterations but incorporating remains of a mid C16 timber-framed building. The building ceased to be the Rectory to Stone Church in 1857. An irregular-shaped building of 2 storeys. The oldest part has 3 parallel ranges and hipped old tiled roof with tall chimney stacks. The garden elevation is of brick with 3 sash windows with glazing bars intact. The other elevations are either stuccoed or, in the case of the entrance front, pebbledashed. The entrance front has 2 semi-octagonal 2 storey additions of circa 1830, with sashes, mainly with verticals only. Early C19 doorcase with projecting reeded surround. Early C19 wing of 2 storeys but lower elevation with pantiled roof.
