Detached kitchen, now house. C15. Timber framed and clad with red brick and flint with plain tiled roof. Two storeys with jetty to north elevation, hipped roof and stack on north elevation. Raking porch on south elevation with boarded door. Weatherboarded outshot to east (right of entrance elevation). The centre of the southern elevation is the lower half of a large ancient stack. Originally the detached kitchen to nearby Fairfield House . (See E.W.Parkin, report, 1970, R.C.H.M.)
