Full Description

The following text is from the original listed building designation:
TR 24 NE SHEPERDSWELL & COLDRED CHURCH ROAD (west side) 2/95 Coldred Court 22.8.62 Farmhouse GV II House. C15, reclad C17. Timber framed and enveloped in red brick in irregular English bond. Three bay lobby entry plan. Two storeys on plinth with plat band and roof with stacks clustered to centre left and at end right. Three 4 light segmentally headed wooden casements on each floor, with plank and stud door with segmental head to centre left, and identical but blocked opening to centre right. Integral catslide outshot to rear, and large gabled rear wing. Interior: the full frame is visible, actually free standing within the brick skin. Inglenook fireplace. Moated manorial site adjacent to the parish church and an ancient earthwork.
