The following text is from the original listed building designation:
TR 24 NE SHEPERDSWELL & COLDRED BOTOLPH STREET (East side) 2/87 Oast Cottage GV II Stable and coachhouse, now house. Early C18 and late C20. Red brick and rendered central section, with plain tiled roofs. Right hand section original stable block with flint plinth and corbelled brick eaves to hipped roof. Wooden casement with mullions on first floor, and boarded door with segmental head. Right return (roadside) front with 2 mullioned wooden casements on each floor and boarded door to end right. Rebuilt central cottage, recessed, of 2 storeys with hipped roof and central stack. One wooden casements each floor. Red brick single storey wing left, with plinth, brick eaves cornice and hipped roof. Two finely gauged elliptical coach entry doorways, the left now blocked with inserted wooden casement. Once stables to Sibertswold Place burnt 1921.
