The following text is from the original listed building designation:
ASH GUSTON TR 36 SW 3/18 Guston Court GV II
House. Early C17 core rebuilt C. 1700. Red brick in English bond especially to rear. Plain tiled roof. Two parallel ranges. Two storeys and attic on plinth with brick eaves cornice to hipped roof with 2 hipped dormers and stacks to left and to right. Regular fenestration of two C20 wooden casements on each floor, those on ground floor with segmental heads. Central blank panel on first floor. Central early C20 wooden and glazed hipped porch, with panelled door and traceried rectangular fanlight within. Projecting at rear right an earlier C17, 2 storey kneelered gabled range, with 1 wooden casement, and hipped single storey extension. Interior: inglenooks with coved heads, moulded joists with run-out chamfers.
