The entry for the following buildings:- TR 24 NE SHEPERDSWELL & COLDRED WALDERSHARE PARK Gates and walls to 2/111 Kitchen Garden, Waldershare Park GV II
shall be amended to read:-
TR 24 NE SHEPHERDSWELL & COLDRED WALDERSHARE PARK Garden Cottage, gates 2/111 and walls to Kitchen Garden, Waldershare Park GV II Gardener's cottage, gates and walls to formal garden, later kitchen garden. Gates and walls early C18, associated with buildings of Waldershare Park by William Talmon, cottage early C19 built into one of these walls. Walls are of plum coloured brick with red brick dressings with wrought iron gates. The long sides of the enclosure are bounded by low brick walls, about 2 feet high, with stone cornice to simple iron railings, broken on west side by 2 gates with low flanking gate pier. Southern end formed by simple iron railings with gate. Main entrance on north front, the flanking brick walls about 5 feet high swept up to piers about 12 feet high with red brick quoins and capped with stone cornices and moulded leaded urns, with fixed wrought iron rails with scrolled piers and central double leaf gates hung from wrought scrolled piers, the whole about 12 feet high, the gates with low dog rails and simple cresting. Attached to the north is Garden Cottage of c1830. Mainly stuccoed but painted brick to first floor front. Slate roof. 2 storeys 3 windows. 1st floor has 2 6-pane sashes and circular central window. Ground floor has 2 9-pane sashes in cambered architraves. Central flush panelled door and later trelliswork porch. Rear elevation built into curved wall. 1st floor has 2 6-pane sashes and later central window. Ground floor has 2 cambered-openings with C20 doors, mid C19 1-storey extension with plank door.
