7/136 Barn about 20 metres south of 11.10.63 Heronden
GV II
Barn. C16 altered C18.Red brick in English ond on return elevations, on flint and rubble base. Interior timber framed. Plain tiled roof. Plinth, cornice on return elevations to kneelered parapet gabled roof with hipped mid-strey. Three tiers of ventilation slits on return fronts, and 8 on entrance front. Interior; 5 bays with aisles. Clasped purlin and staggered purlin roof. The barn in origin probably dates to the rebuilding of the house and farm in c.1570.
