The following text is from the original listed building designation:
LONDON ROAD (South West Side)Nos 301 and 302 (Charlton Place) A pair circa 1840. 3 storeys basement and attics brown brick. Slate mansarded roof. Parapet with dropped moulded cornice to No 301 only. 3 sashes to each with glazing bars intact. lst floor cast iron balcony with Greek Key design. Windows on ground floor are round-headed. Doorcases are round-headed with traceried fanlights. Nos 279 to 319 (consec) form a group. (1)
