Summary

Grade II* listed building. Main construction periods 1500 to 1832 Dated 1592 on the corner post, but No 65 dates from the early part of the 16th century, timber framed building, refaced in the late 18th century but preserving the overhang of the 1st floor on carved brackets, the corner one being in the shape of the figure of a centaur with the date. Tiled roofs, 2 storeys, (No 65 3 storeys) 3 windows facing north, 5 windows facing east. Stuccoed front, modillion eavescornice.

Dated 1592 on the corner post, but No 65 dates from the early part of the C16, timber framed building, refaced in the late C18 but preserving the overhang of the 1st floor on carved brackets, the corner one being in the shape of the figure of a centaur with the date. Tiled roofs, 2 storeys, (No 65 3 storeys) 3 windows facing north, 5 windows facing east. Stuccoed front, modillion eaves cornice. Sash windows, glazing bars intact, some having pointed Gothic panes. Doorway in east front with pilasters and flat hood over beneath the overhang. The 2 southernmost window bays of the east front are a wholly C18 or early C19 extension.
Nos 63 to 71 (odd) form a group.
