The following text is from the original listed building designation:
1. 5275 POTTER STREET (North West Side) No 1 TR 3358 1/8 19.5.50.

2. Built in 2 sections, both C18, the south probably later than the north. The south section faces Market Street and forms the top of it. 2 storeys and attic. 4 windows, 3 dormers. Stuccoed front. Parapet. Steeply pitched hipped tiled roof, Entablature above ground floor supported by pilasters flanking the front and the windows. Pilasters also flanking the ground floor windows. Glazing bars intact on the 1st floor. The north section has a higher facade, but only 2 storeys and 3 windows. Red brick. Moulded stone cornice. Brick parapet. Glazing bars missing. Doorway with fluted pilasters, moulded frieze, projecting cornice, semi-circular fanlight and 6 panel fielded door.
Nos 1 to 9 (odd) form a group.
