2. Originally one C15 timber framed house, altered in the C18 and refronted in the C19. But it preserves its overhang of the 1st floor on a bressummer. Ground floor now faced with brown roughcast and imitation timbering. 1st floor mathematical tiling. Sash windows glazing bars intact except modern window to No 29. Bay window on the ground floor with glazing bars intact. Doorway with pilasters, pediment-shaped hood supported on brackets under the overhang and 6-panel fielded door. The top 2 panels glazed. Door to No 27 modern. 2 storeys. 2 windows facing west, 2 windows facing south.
Nos 21, 27 and 29 and Gas Lamp, Outhouse with Nos 54 to 60 (even) High Street form a group.
