The following text is from the original listed building designation:

Nos 14 and 16 TR 3358 1/3

2. 2 similar houses of 2 storeys, yellow brick. No 14 has red rubbed brick arches, 2 sashes with glazing bars making 12 squares in theupper windows and 16 squares in the lower. Early Victorian shop front altered about the turn of this century, of 3 pilasters with moulded caps and plinth. Window in 2 squares. Door bead flush central panel and glazed upper square. No 16 rubbed brick arches to sashes but glazing bars missing. Modern shop front which is carried on into No 18 and No 20.
Nos 4 to 24 (even) and the Milk Alley Flat with Nos 2 and 4 Potter Street form a group.
