2. C16 timber framed house, altered in C18 but retaining the overhang of its 1st floor on bressummer and brackets. Plastered front. 2 storeys and attic. 1 window. 1 gabled dormer. C18 sash windows inserted on 1st floor and small contemporary curved shop window with sliding centre panel on the ground floor, the glazing bars in both intact. 6-panel fielded door, to 2 top panels cut away and glazed.
Nos 40 to 50 (even) and Boundary stone form a group.
