2. Probably C17 timber framed building with plastered front of the early C19. Eaves gutter and tiled roof. 2 box sashes 1st floor with glazing bars complete. Ground floor mid C19 door in 4 panels. Modern casement window with glazing bars and modern garage with metal door.
No 1 (Water Lane House) Bowling Cottage and Nos 3 to 7 (odd) with Nos 1 to 5 (odd) Vicarage Lane form a group.

A watching brief during the construction of a conservatory to the rear of the property in 2009 found a 16th/17th century brick drain and a clay-lined cistern. These possibly relate to light industrial activity that was carried out in an extension to the building that was removed in the 19th or 20th century. (2)
