The following text is from the original listed building designation:
MIDDLE STREET 1. 1035 (East Side) No 96 TR 3752 NE 1/347 II GV 2. Early to Mid C19. 2 storeys stuccoed. Half-hipped tiled roof with 1 dormer. 1 sash with verticals only and shutters. The ground floor has a Mid C19 bow shop front and incorporates a left side doorcase with cornice and pilasters and 3 panelled door. Included for group value. Nos 82 to 96 (even) form a group.
