The following text is from the original listed building designation:
MIDDLE STREET 1. 1035 (East Side) No 156 TR 3753 SE 2/364 II 2. Early C19. 2 storeys basement and attics brown brick. Tiled roof with 1 dormer. 1 sash in moulded architrave with glazing bars intact on 1st floor. Right side doorcase with open pediment, semi-circular fanlight and 4 panelled door. Moulded architrave. To the right is a modern doorcase leading to a yard.
