The following text is from the original listed building designation:
NEW STREET 1. 1035 (North Side) No 2 TR 3753 SE 2/429 II GV 2. Dated 1781 but restored in Mid C19. 3 storeys and basement stuccoed. 2 C19 sashes with verticals only and 1 blank, cambered on ground floor. Doorcase with open pediment, pilasters, 6 fielded panelled door and 2 steps to street. Nos 2, 3, 5, 6 and 6A form a group.
