The following text is from the original listed building designation:
NORTHBOURNE ROAD 1. 1035 GREAT MCNGEHAM Stone Hall (Formerly listed under Church Hill ) TR 35 SW 6/148 1.6.49. II 2. Late C17. 2 storeys red brick. Half-hipped tiled roof and wooden dentilled eaves cornice. 2 storeys red brick. Doorcase with fluted pilasters, moulded frieze and pediment. The top 4 panels in the door have been cut away and glazed. The gable in the east front has 2 brick arches over former round-headed windows, now replaced by C18 sash windows. 2 brick north wing of lower elevation behind the house.
