Full Description
[TQ 73 77 - sited to parish name only] Five fragments of Samian ware, described, are among several sherds recovered from the general area of Cliffe Marshes: (i) Form 37. Central Gaulish; good glaze and relief (four fragments, three of which conjoin) (ii) Form 37. South Gaulish; good glaze and relief (one small fragment) (iii) Form 37. Central Gaulish; good glaze but squashed relief (small sherd) (iv) Forms 18/31 or 31. Fragmentary stamp. (v) Form 30. Central Gaulish; good glaze and relief (1).
