The following text is from the original listed building designation:
HIGH STREET 1. 1035 (East Side) TR 3752 NE 1/433 No l14 20.8.73 114 II GV 2. Formerly bonded warehouse. Late C18 to early Cl9. Established 1802, 2 storeys stuccoed. Hipped slate roof with parapet having dropped eaves cornice. Stringcourse. 3 cambered sashes with glazing bars intact on the 1st floor. The ground floor has one sash with flat arch and 2 with cambered heads. Stone cills. Left side cambered doorcase with rusticated surround and keystone and a similar right side carriage entrance. Plinth. The rear elevation has a 1 storeyed brick extension with hipped pantiled roof. No 114 and No 1 Oak Street form a group.
