The following text is from the original listed building designation:
BEACH STREET 1. 1935 (West Side) No 161 TR 3753 SE 2/30 II GV 2. Early to Mid C19. 3 storeys brown brick, ground floor stuccoed. 3 sashes with glazing bars missing, the centre one blocked on the 1st and 2nd floors. Doorcase with pediment, cornice and large consoles. Later C19 door. Nos 157 to 161 (odd) and No 165 form a group.
