The following text is from the original listed building designation:
TR 24 NE SHEPERDSWELL & COLDRED EYETHORNE ROAD (west side) 2/103 The Whitehall Inn II Public House. Early Cl9. Rendered brick, exposed red and blue check on return elevations, with slate roofs. Double range. Two storeys and attic on plinth with 2 flat roofed dormers and stacks to end right. Regular fenestration of 3 glazing bar sashes on first floor, and 2 glazing bar sashes on ground floor, with wooden casement to right. Central half-glazed door in pi laster and cornice surround. Small C20 1 storey extension to right, and large 2 storey extension to left, with weather boarding on brick ground floor, with 1 sash on each floor, and half-glazed door.
