The following text is from the original listed building designation:
TR 24 NW DENTON AND WOOTTON CANTERBURY ROAD (east side) 1/39 Keeper's Lodge II Gate Lodge. Mid C19. Rendered and applied frame with tiled roof. T- shaped plan in picturesque Old English style. One storey and attic on plinth with central stack and 2 gabled dormers. Three light oriel to left, and triangular oriel to right on ground floor with central half- glazed arched door and door surround in gabled porch. Right return with jettied gable on satyr-corbels, with pierced barge-board and patterned frame, with enriched canted bay on ground floor, originally agate lodge to Denton Court.
