The following text is from the original listed building designation:
TR 24 NW DENTON AND WOOTTON CANTERBURY ROAD SELSTED 1/54 Thatched Cottage 22.8.62 II House. C16. Timber framed with red brick infill and thatched roof. Four framed bays. One storey and attic on plinth with continuous jetty on brackets and hipped roof with stack to left and 3 raking dormers. Four wooden casements on ground floor that to centre left in blocked doorway; end right bay projecting slightly. Entry in outshot to right return.
