The following text is from the original listed building designation:
TR 24 SE TEMPLE EWELL CHURCH HILL (south side) 4/82 Row of 3 headstones 20 metres north of church of St Peter and St Paul GV II
Row of three headstones. Mary Pilcher, early C18. About 2 feet high with crude skull and cross bones motif. Elizabeth Pilcher, d.1752 and Henry Pilcher, d. 1757 about 2 feet high with complete rocaille head with floriated and scrolled shoulders 3 cherubs heads and death's head. Thomas Wood,Yeoman, Mid C18 about 2½ feet high decorated with scythe and sickle and death's head, skull and bones and figure of time(?) with hourglass and scythe, all crudely carved.
